OEM Partners
OEMs, ISVs and VARs who distribute Aduna software with their products, and are not licensing and distributing their source code under the OSL, need to purchase a commercial license for every Aduna product that will be distributed.
Licensing Terms and pricing can be tailored to meet the unique requirements of OEMs, ISVs and VARs interested in embedding or bundling Aduna software. Licenses needed can be based on different models (example royalties). Usually an Aduna Commercial license is part of the OEM agreement between OEM and Aduna.
Please contact Aduna sales for additional information and proposals.
Example
Company ABC intends to sell Aduna's Guided Exploration software packed in a hardware appliance in large volumes (Search Appliance). Company XYZ and Aduna will negotiate an OEM agreement. In the OEM agreement the conditions will be specified how and where ABC uses or sells Aduna products and how the ACL fits in.
OEM Support
Aduna provides excellent support for OEM partners. Usually an OEM partner can make use of Adunas Development Support Contract (ADSC) possibilities. This support contract is tuned for developers and product integrators (see attachment). In addition, Aduna offers Technical Consulting and product expertise to OEM partners helping them to integrate Aduna software components/tools into OEMs solution/product.
